Where Can I Smoke?
During a recent trip to St. Louis, Philadelphia and New York, I found out how difficult it was to find places where I could actually smoke a cigarette. I was pleasantly surprised that the St. Louis Airport (STL) still has smoking lounges inside the airport terminal. St. Louis is certainly one of the most smoker friendly cities left in the country. In Philly, I checked into a non-smoking hotel (many of the hotels in the city are non-smoking) and asked the guy at the front desk if there were any places close by that allowed smoking, and he had no clue of anyplace. When I went to New York it was the same situation. Prior to departing from Texas, I had done some research on smoking friendly places In New York, but the smoking list I found was a couple years old, and ALL of the information was incorrect. That is when I came up with the idea for making a website where smokers would update the information and keep the smoking database current. We are trying to rate each bar or restaurant by how “smoking friendly” they are, and include other information like: if they allow cigar smoking, whether smoking is allowed indoors or outdoors, if fans and heaters are supplied outdoors, is the place sports friendly, and whether they sell cigarettes and cigars. Since we are based out of San Antonio, we will have much more information on smoking bars, restaurants, and cigar bars in Texas, but we want to cover the entire USA and Canada, and we need your help to do so. Please help us find restaurants and cigar bars and mention this site to family and friends that smoke. This site is brand new and we will be making updates on a regular basis. We encourage you to email us about any problems or suggestions that you have. Please register to start
